CLUE to who the actor is: "The Good" in paragraph 4)Īs for the movie, as a whole, it had its moments but wasn't as funny as I thought it would be (trailers show the best parts) and also felt at times that the movie isn't really meant for kids. (if you watch the movie or know the actor, you would understand. If you are going to have a cameo appearance of a real person but animated (as a human) in the movie, GET THAT PERSON TO DO THE VOICE!!!!!!!! Now, I don't know if there was some type of deal that Nickelodeon couldn't make happen with this actor, but if that was the case, then at least try to imitate the voice, I mean COME ON MAN! That guy is a western LEGEND!. But most of the actors did a nice job, except one actor, who portrait "The Spirit of the West", which brings me to a MAJOR down fall of the movie. A couple of times, Rango started to sound like Kermit the Frog. The overall message of the movie, also a good message for kids (if they can figure it out). Very clear, very crisp and smooth, and super life like at some points. My take on this movie is basically Fievel Goes West mixed in with The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly and throw in the Geico Lizard with a sense of humor and different accent. Kinda disappointed and almost take it as a false advertisement. Well, my first "to pick at" I have for the movie, Rango, is that I seen a funny scene on a commercial/trailer, where Rango mentions "Don't forget to pack my 's for my gun, it's my GUN lotion" but, low and behold, was not actually shown in the movie. A lot of those trailers had scenes or parts that were never actually in the final release of the film. Back when Jurassic Park came out, they showed some awesome trailers for the movie. A town in need of some law and order and a hero, that Rango so happens to find himself fulfilling.įirst off, I just wanna mention a pet peeve of mine that I HATE with moves. With a little bit of bad driving and a bad decision made by a possum, he finds himself stranded in a desert and stumbles upon a little old town of "Dirt".
The movie, Rango, is a movie about a chameleon who is domesticated pet, and thinks of himself as a actor/director in his little world inside his aquarium. So we came to a simple agreement on the new movie, Rango, staring the voice of Johnny Depp. Due to the difference in our sense of humor, movies such as Hall Pass, Just Go With It, and Take Me Home Tonight were out of the question. So with nothing to do on a Saturday night, I decided to take my lovely lady to the movies.
